The King’s School Robinhills brought their grade 0 classes for a tour of the Hospital.The children were very excited to put on the theatre caps and masks. First stop was Maternity where they got to see a newborn baby through the window, there were lots of Oooh’s and Aaah’s. The Paediatric ward was so much fun, watching Takalani (puppet) make all the sick children laugh. X-rays and theatre was also very informative and I think even the teachers and Mom’s learnt a thing or two. The highlight was being able to climb inside the Netcare 911 ambulance and speaking to a real paramedic.
